Environmental Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Program Manager to join our team at the Department of the Army. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for managing and implementing environmental programs and projects, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement environmental programs and projects, including Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) and Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community groups, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on environmental compliance and regulations, including the Clean Air and Water Acts and environmental justice.
- Manage and oversee environmental projects, including planning, design, construction, and environmental management.
- Develop and implement policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure environmental compliance and program effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, biology, physical science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of specialized experience in environmental program management, including experience with HTRW and MMRP programs.
- Expert knowledge of environmental regulations and policies, including the Clean Air and Water Acts and environmental justice.
- Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
