Job Overview

The Senior Culinary Lead is a key role within Aramark, responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position requires a high level of culinary expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and assign daily work activities to staff, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to production guidelines.
  • Train and guide staff on job duties, food safety procedures, and cooking methods to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Cook and prepare food according to standardized recipes and production guidelines, ensuring consistency and presentation.
  • Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items, adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Safely use food utensils, including knives, and operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines, ensuring visual appeal and customer satisfaction.
  • Properly store food, following food safety policies and procedures, to maintain quality and prevent waste.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintain excellent customer service, providing a positive experience for guests, customers, and colleagues.
  • Follow Aramark safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure the security of company assets and maintain accurate production records.
