Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to oversee the kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional food quality. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for executing menu items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and oversee the production of all menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct daily line checks, including temperature checks, food rotation, and inventory management.
  • Assist with creation and execution of daily specials, ensuring alignment with seasonal trends and company standards.
  • Implement closing duties, ensuring all kitchen staff complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels, reporting variances to management.
  • Attend weekly management meetings and corporate meetings, staying informed about company initiatives and best practices.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Proven track record of managing kitchen staff, controlling costs, and maintaining exceptional food quality.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
