THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, you will collaborate with restaurant and field leadership to address issues related to fraud and workplace safety. This role involves conducting thorough investigations and interviews using various tools to resolve these challenges. Additionally, you will support the asset protection team to uphold best practices in cash handling and safety protocols.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Oversee a range of internal theft and fraud investigations across restaurants, including cashier theft, burglaries, scams, inventory loss, and other forms of fraud.
- Assist with safety and workplace violence incidents, including interviewing witnesses and affected employees, developing protection plans, implementing safety measures, and coordinating with law enforcement and private security.
- Maintain detailed documentation of investigations and interviews in the designated case management system, ensuring evidence and statements are preserved according to policy.
- Collaborate with law enforcement to investigate fraud and violence incidents.
- Conduct Asset Protection Audits in restaurants to verify compliance with Chipotle's cash handling and security policies.
- Enhance the capabilities of restaurant and field management through coaching and training to improve adherence to cash handling and security protocols, utilizing audit findings to identify trends.
- Assist restaurants with requests for security personnel, camera installations, and alarm services as needed.
- 3-5 years of experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, workplace investigations, or Safety and Security.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Experience with Wicklander Zulawski - Non-Confrontational Interview techniques.
- Strong skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with experience in video surveillance.
- Excellent investigative and auditing skills, with the ability to communicate findings effectively to leadership.
- Capability to conduct phone interviews and manage administrative tasks remotely.
- Familiarity with case management software for tracking investigations.
- Proficient in exception-based reporting (EBR) software to detect theft and fraud, with experience in behavioral threat assessment techniques.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The estimated base salary range for this position is $89,000 to $121,000 annually, with eligibility for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based on performance. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education. Chipotle offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, paid leave, and more.
