Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Loss Prevention Investigator to join our team at Lids. As a key member of our Asset Protection department, you will be responsible for conducting investigations, physical inventories, and policy compliance audits to prevent fraud and theft.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Audit and Compliance: Conduct thorough audits of store records and interview employees to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  2. Investigations: Conduct investigations into internal and external fraud, theft, and policy violations, and prepare and submit audit findings and recommendations to management.
  3. Analytics and Risk Management: Monitor Analytics software to detect potential loss of assets via POS data, and examine store operating procedures for compliance with standard procedures and policies.
  4. Inventory Management: Conduct full physical inventory audits to assess the proper accountability of assets, and inspect store accounting systems to determine their efficiency and protective value.
  5. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with HR, DSMs, RDs, and other stakeholders to conduct investigations, and provide excellent customer service as outlined in the LSG policy manual.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: A four-year degree in business or a related field, or two years of experience in a related field, and at least one year of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Certifications and Skills: Interview & Interrogation Certification, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate in a clear, audible, and grammatically correct manner.
  3. Physical Demands: Ability to climb a ladder, work with arms overhead, and stand for up to 80% of the work time.
  4. Travel Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel overnight for business purposes.
