We are seeking a driven and dedicated individual to take on the role of Regional Operations Leader. As a Regional Operations Leader, you will be responsible for guiding a network of Store Managers to ensure exceptional customer experiences, operational success, and a workplace that fosters engagement and aligns with our core values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the region, ensuring optimal staffing levels and effective performance management of all team members.
2. Enhance team engagement and productivity across multiple locations, creating an environment that encourages retention and professional growth.
3. Exhibit strong leadership qualities by establishing trust with store teams, setting clear objectives, and maintaining open lines of communication.
4. Cultivate a robust leadership team by recruiting or promoting management candidates to meet future staffing needs, while providing ongoing training, coaching, and constructive feedback.
5. Analyze financial data, including profit and loss statements and gap analyses, to monitor sales, expenses, labor costs, and inventory management, while coaching Store Managers to enhance profitability.
6. Conduct regular store visits to ensure adherence to company standards regarding store conditions, promotions, operational procedures, and financial controls.
7. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and product quality while overseeing safety and security within the region.
8. Focus on food service operations, driving sales growth, and maintaining food safety standards.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Regional Manager.
10. Must be capable of fulfilling the essential functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Relationships: Collaborate with store team members, Regional Manager, VP of Retail Operations, Human Resource partners, and various departments including Facilities Maintenance, Marketing, and Risk Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or GED required; a college degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years in retail, with 1-3 years in multi-unit management or general management in a restaurant setting.
Preferred Experience: 1-3 years in multi-unit retail management within convenience stores or restaurants.
Certifications: Must maintain ServSafe Certification and ensure compliance during store audits.
Essential Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively resolve issues.
- Strong analytical abilities.
Travel Requirements: Frequent travel between locations is expected.
Work Schedule: Typically Monday through Friday, with a 40-50 hour work week, and occasional weekend work as needed.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks.
Additional Information:
- Must possess a clean driving record.
- Willingness to relocate is preferred but not mandatory.
