Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the processing of medical record requests and information disclosures.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of patient data.
  • Manage patient health records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Digitize paper documents for electronic health record systems.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding patient records and ensure proper transmission.
  • Support administrative functions including data entry and telephone communications.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
  • Excellent data entry capabilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Background in customer service.
  • Aptitude for building rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills.

Work Environment:

This role is primarily office-based. Candidates should be able to frequently alternate between standing and sitting, lift up to 20 lbs, and utilize standard office equipment. Limited travel may be necessary.

Additional Information:
