Job Opportunity: Campus Activator

City Teaching Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a Campus Activator. This role will be responsible for building awareness of educational inequity and City Teaching Alliance's work on their campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a detailed campus recruitment plan to inspire top mission-aligned students to apply.
  • Network with professors and student organizations to secure City Teaching Alliance presentations in classes and meetings.
  • Present about the City Teaching Alliance program to various student organizations, classes, and campus leaders and staff.
  • Identify and reach out to potential City Teaching Alliance applicants on campus through email and text communication.
  • Leverage social media to create engaging posts that connect campus audiences with City Teaching Alliance's work and mission.
  • Manage and execute a high-visibility marketing, publicity, and social media campaign to ensure City Teaching Alliance maintains a strong presence on campus.
  • Assume responsibility for the success of the campaign on your campus by preparing for and actively participating in regular team meetings and one-on-one check-in meetings with City Teaching Alliance staff.
  • Ensure all campus recruitment effort data has been entered accurately into our system and is up to date.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate student during the school year for which they will be Campus Activator.
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Aptitude for networking and relationship building.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Eagerness to work behind the scenes to support ambitious goals.
  • Record of achievement in academics, leadership, and/or employment.
  • High level of initiative and personal responsibility.
