Job Title: Marketing Coordinator, Athletics

The George Washington University Department of Athletics and Recreation is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns to enhance campus life and increase student attendance and engagement at sporting events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to support campus events and athletic programs.
  • Collaborate with student organizations to promote participation and engagement.
  • Manage the promotional and marketing schedule, including scripting, music, video board content, and sponsorship activations.
  • Conduct surveys and gather feedback to assess student satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area of study.
  • 1.5 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, fan engagement, or sports management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in marketing, fan engagement, or sports management.
