Job Overview:

This role is a pivotal position within the Finance department that collaborates with various leadership levels to enhance financial accountability, optimize costs, and improve processes. The Senior Financial Analyst will be tasked with delivering comprehensive, timely, and precise financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the organization. Furthermore, this position will involve conducting standard cost assessments, strategizing manufacturing networks, and facilitating process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee inventory consolidation and forecasting efforts for all planning and reporting cycles.
  • Execute variance analysis and pinpoint key drivers to support informed business decisions. Regularly conduct financial reviews with business partners to relay financial performance and address business challenges.
  • Offer insightful analysis to guide the business in achieving its financial objectives.
  • Provide scenario analytics for strategic initiatives, gross margin projects, and long-term planning.
  • Develop, automate, and track essential financial metrics.
  • Consolidate financial data from various global manufacturing locations and deliver clear, effective communication to leadership regarding business performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Financial scope includes Month-End Close, Quarterly Forecasts, Annual Planning, and Standard Costs.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support complex decision-making within global manufacturing operations and present recommendations to management.
  • Act as the financial lead in cross-functional team settings.
  • Identify areas for enhancement and proactively propose innovative solutions that promote efficiency.
  • Establish and utilize robust financial processes to enhance business performance.
  • Assist with ad hoc internal and external audit requests.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or financial planning and analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information at all organizational levels.
  • Capability to articulate financial outcomes tailored to the audience.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or CPA is advantageous.
  • Experience with SAP ERP and Hyperion Planning/Essbase systems.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines in high-pressure environments.
  • Capability to work effectively amidst uncertainties and adapt priorities proactively.
  • Strong results orientation and a proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation in understanding business needs and guiding others to fulfill those needs.
