Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst role is a pivotal position within the Finance department, collaborating with leadership across various tiers to enhance financial stewardship, optimize costs, and refine processes. This position entails managing intricate, timely, and precise financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the organization. Furthermore, the Senior Financial Analyst will engage in standard cost evaluations, manufacturing network strategies, and process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee inventory consolidation and forecasting initiatives for all planning and reporting cycles.
  • Conduct variance analysis to pinpoint key drivers that support business decisions. Facilitate regular financial reviews with business partners to relay financial performance and address business challenges.
  • Deliver insightful analysis to assist the business in achieving its financial objectives.
  • Provide scenario analytics for strategic initiatives, gross margin projects, and long-term planning.
  • Design, automate, and track essential financial metrics.
  • Aggregate financial data from various global manufacturing locations and effectively communicate business performance to leadership, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Financial scope includes Month-End Close, Quarterly Forecasts, Annual Planning, and Standard Costs.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support complex decision-making within global manufacturing operations and present recommendations to management.
  • Act as the financial lead in cross-functional team settings.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and proactively propose innovative solutions that enhance efficiency.
  • Establish and implement robust financial processes to boost business performance.
  • Assist with ad hoc internal and external audit inquiries.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or financial planning and analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to present financial results tailored to the audience.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or CPA is advantageous.
  • Experience with SAP ERP and Hyperion Planning/Essbase systems.
  • Capability to manage tight deadlines in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to adapt effectively under uncertainty and proactively adjust priorities.
  • Strong results orientation and a proactive approach to understanding business needs and guiding others to fulfill those needs.
