Role Responsibilities
As the Lead Product Strategist, you will:

  • Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for SmartThings Services.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to assess market opportunities and formulate go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze market demands and bridge the gap between technical and business needs to deliver compelling solutions.
  • Engage with strategic partners to establish shared objectives and timelines for service integrations.
  • Coordinate product initiatives across various teams, ensuring alignment and buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of customer needs and competitive landscapes to inform product direction.
  • Set product priorities and work closely with engineering teams to navigate challenges and evaluate trade-offs.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch, incorporating user feedback into future development cycles.
  • Effectively communicate product strategies and outcomes to diverse audiences.

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or product marketing.
  • A proven track record in driving strategic product initiatives with a focus on execution.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Technical proficiency to engage in detailed discussions with engineering teams.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and collaboration across various functions.
  • A solid understanding of the IoT landscape and smart home technologies.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
