Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barista and Cafe Operator to join our team. As a Barista and Cafe Operator, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment, and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Serve high-quality coffee and food menu items according to Agnello's recipes, standards, and procedures.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and answering any questions about the menu.
  • Operate and Maintain coffee brewing equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and other related appliances.
  • Ensure Proper Food Storage and rotation to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a Clean Workspace and ensure the cafe and kitchen remain tidy and inviting for customers.
  • Follow Food Safety Guidelines to maintain a hygienic work environment.
  • Handle Cash and Process Payments using the point-of-sale system.
  • Assist with Inventory Management by restocking supplies, notifying management of low stock levels, and participating in periodic inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with Team Members to create a positive and supportive work atmosphere.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Previous Experience as a Barista and/or Kitchen Team Member preferred.
  • Knowledge of Various Coffee Brewing Methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Various Cooking Techniques, methods, and procedures.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
  • Ability to Work Well Under Pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to Maintaining High Standards of Cleanliness and food safety.
  • Excellent Teamwork and Problem-Solving Abilities.
  • Flexibility to Work a Variety of Shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical Stamina to Stand for Long Periods, lift heavy items, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
