About the Role

The Account Executive is a key member of our sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the Pacific Coast territory. This is a remote position that requires frequent travel to customer sites within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and optimize the sales cycle to achieve assigned revenue, share of wallet, business mix, and new customer goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business plans to cover all potential customers within the assigned territory, including new account development and expansion of existing customer revenue.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and build strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers within customer organizations to optimize revenue potential.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to promote products and services, ensuring knowledge of company offerings and industry trends.
  • Manage customer expectations throughout the sales cycle and ensure placement of the company on bid and/or qualified supplier lists for appropriate markets.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and progress reports to the Regional Vice President in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure ethical use of company funds when traveling or incurring expenses in support of company-related business.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, professional journals, general business periodicals, government regulations, and legal documents.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to write a standard business communication.
  • Persistence and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of technology and audio-visual products.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
