Position Overview:

This remote position is ideally suited for candidates located in the San Francisco, California area. The Senior Account Executive is a dynamic, results-oriented sales professional responsible for identifying and closing direct sales opportunities, enhancing existing accounts, and collaborating closely with regional partners. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to maximize the potential of Precisely's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Precisely's products and services, along with the approved sales methodologies.
  • Assist the Head of Financial Services and fellow Account Executives in alignment with the Financial Services strategy.
  • Create and implement business plans to drive revenue growth within assigned territories.
  • Collaborate with Value Added Distributors, Technology Partners, account managers, and channel partners to secure large-scale enterprise deployments.
  • Work alongside Precisely's Pre-sales and Professional Services teams to develop compelling business propositions based on our solutions.
  • Manage partner company agreements and policies effectively.
  • Utilize Precisely's Salesforce CRM to document sales processes throughout the sales cycle.
  • Expand channel and territory by recruiting, training, and supporting partners.
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for a designated territory of accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in enterprise software sales (SaaS preferred) in Capital Markets and Banking.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships at all levels with prospects, customers, partners, and within Precisely.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective time management.
  • Proven B2B selling skills with a strong drive to close deals.
  • Familiarity with the Mainframe and data & analytics ecosystem.
  • Passion for solution selling and a demonstrated success in achieving client business outcomes.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a desire to understand clients' businesses and collaborate on innovative solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Financial Services data management and its role in decision-making.
  • Experience in enterprise software and SaaS or consultative selling is preferred.
  • History of successful sales with a diverse product/service portfolio in a global context is advantageous.
  • Experience selling to Banks, Exchanges, and Capital Markets is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex sales processes in support of large Financial strategic account development.
