Job Title: Director of Development

Job Summary:

The Director of Development plays a critical role in supporting the philanthropic efforts of Children's Home Society of WA by overseeing local and regional charitable contributions. This position is responsible for creating and implementing regional fund development plans, executing fundraising events, and engaging with major donors and foundation partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of Regional funding strategy
  • Management of the day-to-day facilitation of the fundraising process in the four regions
  • Donor portfolio management
  • Supervision of Development Coordinator and Events Coordinator

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Four years of experience in a similar role
  • Two years of demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Background in fundraising or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous fundraising management experience
  • Associate's degree
