Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Summer Camp Director to lead our youth development program at our facility in Carnation, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities, ensuring camper health and safety, and providing a positive role model for our participants.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description

As a Summer Camp Director, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring campers to grow in their faith and develop important life skills. This includes planning and implementing engaging activities, such as crafts, songs, games, and small group faith sharing. You will also be responsible for ensuring camper health and safety, communicating with parents, and maintaining accurate program records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong commitment to the mission and values of The Archdiocese of Seattle. You will also need to have experience working with children, a good example for youth in appearance and behavior, and the ability to pass provided CPR/First aid training course. Additionally, you will need to be able to work evenings and/or weekends and live on site in rustic facilities while programs are in session.

Other Requirements

  1. Willingness and ability to support the mission of the Church by extending the ministry of the Archbishop.
  2. Ability and desire to use God-given gifts and talents in service of the local Church.
  3. A good example for youth in appearance, attitudes, as well as in moral, ethical and spiritual behavior.
  4. HS Diploma or significant qualifying experience.
  5. Previous experience working with children.
  6. Commitment to the mission and values of CYO.
  7. Strong communication skills, verbal.
  8. Ability to pass provided CPR/First aid training course.
  9. Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and live on site in rustic facilities while programs are in session.
  10. Must be at least 16 years of age.
