Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.
- Contract Duration: 6 Months
- Compensation: Competitive pay rate ranging from $47.89 to $57.95 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Designing frameworks to gather data from various instrumentation sources.
- Utilizing AutoCAD Electrical for the electrical design of data and control systems, including enclosure design in compliance with UL508A standards.
- Developing avionics checkout systems.
- Creating sensor and actuator interface circuit designs.
- Conducting detailed troubleshooting of electrical designs.
- Designing video monitoring and recording systems.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial or aerospace control and data system design or operation.
- Proficiency in designing electrical systems using CAD-based tools, preferably AutoCAD Electrical.
- Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NFPA70).
- Experience with National Instruments data acquisition hardware or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of integrating instrumentation into data acquisition and control system hardware.
- Understanding of instrumentation theory for pressure, temperature, flow, strain, and acceleration applications.
- Ability to foster trust and maintain professional relationships, contributing to an inclusive workplace culture.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted into the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in analog circuit PCB design using Altium design tools, focusing on high-frequency instrumentation signal conditioning.
- Knowledge of volt power circuits and power distribution design.
- Understanding of additional electrical codes such as NFPA 70E, 79, 496, 497, UL508A, and 698.
- Experience in noise reduction, shielding, and analog/digital filtering for high-fidelity measurements.
- Familiarity with various video monitoring systems including high-definition and infrared technologies.
- Experience in tuning closed-loop control systems.
- Software development experience in PLC ladder logic, LabVIEW, C++, or Python.
- Thorough knowledge of instrumentation components such as silicon diodes, RTDs, TCs, LVDTs, accelerometers, and bridge sensors.
