Position Overview:

Under the direct guidance of a physician, the Healthcare Administrative Assistant performs a range of clinical and administrative tasks to support healthcare providers in the examination and treatment of patients.


Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Functions:

Conducts essential clerical tasks to facilitate the smooth operation of the physician's office.


Clinical Responsibilities:

Assists the physician during examinations and procedures, prepares examination rooms, and ensures that all instruments and supplies are current and readily accessible. Maintains a tidy and organized workspace.


Professionalism and Collaboration:

Demonstrates a strong commitment to teamwork by fostering positive relationships with patients, families, colleagues, and the broader community. Engages cooperatively and collaboratively to enhance a unified workforce.


Qualifications:

Possesses formal knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) with expertise in a specialized area. Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
