The Agency Relationship Specialist plays a crucial role within our national Agency Relationship Management team, based in the Canonsburg, Pennsylvania office located in the Southpointe Business complex. This position collaborates closely with our internal advertising, marketing, and sales departments. The individual will be tasked with fostering new business opportunities and providing education to agents regarding our quoting platforms and services. This role includes tailored training and one-on-one mentorship aimed at enhancing your insurance knowledge, sales acumen, and overall professional development.

- Results-driven with a persistent approach.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with retail clients.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and eager to acquire new knowledge.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Able to collaborate effectively in teams and provide constructive feedback.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Main Responsibilities:
- Engage with current and prospective retail agency clients through phone and electronic communication to provide product updates and support their business needs.
- Work in conjunction with the National Production teams to identify sales opportunities with targeted agencies.
- Conduct daily outbound calls to enhance business relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and relevant information using our proprietary CRM system.
- Oversee the national agency development and retention strategy.
- Support branch offices in implementing local retail agency marketing strategies.
- Evaluate company performance against service level agreements and identify potential issues through client satisfaction assessments.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development to devise and execute innovative strategies for business growth.
- Additional Responsibilities May Include:
- Representing USG at industry events, including conventions and trade shows.
- Facilitating online systems registration, training, and reporting.
- Tracking sales from marketing initiatives and developing methods to showcase our results.
