Position Overview: The Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe, a distinguished venue, is seeking a skilled Event Sales Manager. This role is pivotal in overseeing the sales and coordination of events, ensuring that each occasion is executed flawlessly. The Event Sales Manager will engage in hosting a variety of events, from corporate meetings to elegant weddings, utilizing our expansive 20,000 square feet of adaptable event space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales by promoting and marketing event spaces, packages, and additional services to attract new clients.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, proposals, and event agreements while adhering to company policies and pricing standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and meetings with potential clients to showcase our offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with culinary and operations teams to ensure comprehensive event planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to secure essential resources, including equipment, rentals, and decor.
  • Manage event setup, oversee the flow of activities, and address any last-minute adjustments to guarantee a seamless experience for clients and guests.

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in hotel/resort/event sales or equivalent industry experience is required.
