Job Overview

JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting, recognized as the leading Commercial Cleaning Franchise, is seeking a dedicated professional to fulfill the role of Appointment Setter/Telemarketer. This position involves working closely with the local Sales Manager to drive sales efforts through effective communication and outreach.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and qualify potential sales appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions for follow-up and re-engagement.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are current and readily available for client outreach.
  • Provide recommendations for effective solicitation strategies.
  • Conduct telemarketing activities as directed by management.
  • Focus on maximizing account acquisition in designated areas while prioritizing franchise business needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve appointment-setting goals.
  • Implement a performance tracking system to measure success against targets.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or administrative roles within a sales environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Professional and friendly telephone demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Skilled in utilizing the Internet for research and outreach.
  • Ability to take detailed notes and maintain accurate records.
  • Competence in documenting client information in electronic systems.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CAPABILITIES:

  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
  • Manual dexterity for operating computers and other electronic devices.
  • Capability to take clear handwritten notes when necessary.
  • Correctable vision and hearing abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Clear and articulate oral communication skills.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office setting with climate control.
  • Exposure to standard office lighting.
  • Noise levels typical of an office environment.
  • Potential exposure to common office equipment hazards.
