Position Summary:
The Logistics Operations Coordinator is a vital member of the InProduction Inventory Operations Team. This role is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing the movement and tracking of equipment across job sites and storage facilities. The coordinator is accountable for ensuring accurate truck loading, providing detailed inventory lists, and confirming the shipment of equipment. On-site, this position takes charge of all equipment once it is returned to the storage area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain accurate inventory of all equipment within the storage facility.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the storage area.
  • Provide daily inventory reports to operations.
  • Load trucks according to specified load lists.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to confirm all requested equipment is loaded onto trucks.
  • Document loaded trucks with photographs, ensuring a minimum of two images are captured for each truck.
  • Verify that the correct loads are assigned to the appropriate trucks, ensuring each truck has a designated load number and that the carrier is confirmed against the Bill of Lading.
  • Communicate any discrepancies or shortages from the requested load lists to operations.
  • Ensure equipment is sorted and secured prior to loading onto trucks, requesting assistance as necessary.
  • During load-ins, receive all trucks and verify that all shipped materials are accounted for.
  • Ensure that all necessary materials are available on-site for loading out each job.
  • Coordinate with job leads to communicate equipment needs.
  • Facilitate the pickup and delivery of materials to the storage area as opportunities arise.
  • Assist leads in the distribution of materials during low loading and unloading periods, providing support for builds and tear-downs as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in loading trucks efficiently.
  • Proficient in using tablets and accessing digital communication tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to operate a forklift.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders and stairs independently.
  • Able to work from heights safely.
  • Experience in directing and managing a small team of employees.
