About This Opportunity:

Aerotek seeks skilled Tig Welders who can deliver high-quality results in various manufacturing settings.

Duties:

  1. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Tig welding techniques for stainless steel and aluminum materials within low gauge positions (1-4g).

  2. This individual must read and interpret blueprints along with weld symbols accurately determining assembly component sequences.

  3. The successful candidate will understand various welding cutting equipment including bandsaws plasma cutters punchers etc.

  4. This person should trim file grind sand deburr buff smooth surfaces using hand tools portable power tools.

  5. The selected candidate will lay out mark dimensions reference lines on material applying knowledge of shop math layout techniques.

  6. This individual may be required sometimes on weekends.

  7. A weld test consists of joining two pieces of sheetstock 16 gauge thickness each behind which has one eighth inch gap fillet weld.

  8. This person must accurately measure distances up tounless sixteenth inch precision using rulers.

  9. The candidate will operate within indoor settings.

  10. This role operates on evening shifts typically between thirty three p m two am.
