POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and efficiently transport products from our facility to customer locations. This position may involve assisting with loading and unloading vehicles, as well as performing general labor tasks in the warehouse as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to all company, state, and federal safety regulations and policies.
  • Represent Architectural Surfaces Group professionally in all customer interactions and through responsible driving practices.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Conduct material inspections prior to and during deliveries.
  • Assist with loading and unloading tasks; may operate a forklift after training.
  • Complete necessary paperwork related to delivery orders and report any damages.
  • Maintain compliance records as required by state and federal regulations, including daily vehicle inspections, driver's logs, fuel purchases, and mileage records.

WAREHOUSE SUPPORT:

Assist in the warehouse as needed, including:

  • Safely and accurately loading and unloading materials onto trucks.
  • Preparing materials for customer viewing and loading.
  • Inspecting, counting, and verifying all received materials against documentation.
  • Signing off on orders and coordinating with co-workers/supervisors.
  • Ensuring all slabs are securely loaded and unloaded.
  • Tagging and identifying materials as necessary.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Conducting quality control checks on materials to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Following all safety policies and standard operating procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Current Class B CDL Driver's License and Medical Card required.
  • Dependable and hardworking individual with a collaborative attitude.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50+ lbs.
  • Capability to maneuver to and from trailer decks.
  • Flexibility with shift start and finish times.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
