Job Overview

As a Program Coordination Specialist at Wesco International, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing assigned programs. Your primary focus will be to assist and resolve customer-related issues, while also coordinating sourcing, pricing, and ensuring compliance with contracts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare material quotations, collaborating with engineering, purchasing teams, vendors, and outside sales to ensure alignment.
  • Support the sourcing of materials by coordinating between sales and operations teams.
  • Maintain updates on customer-owned inventory, ensuring timely shipments before new stock is introduced.
  • Engage with customers, internal logistics personnel, and freight companies to facilitate prompt shipment of pallet positions.
  • Gather information for quarterly pricing related to contract business, verify expiration of Special Pricing Agreements (SPAs) for program business, and coordinate quotations for customers by liaising with vendors and the internal program management team.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding invoice discrepancies, conducting research to resolve errors.
  • Oversee batches of orders by ensuring customer data is accurately entered into internal systems and coordinating timely drops to the warehouse for shipping.
  • Provide post-order support to customers by expediting material orders with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate with warehouse leaders for assigned program business to ensure timely dispatch of shipments.
  • Contribute innovative ideas aimed at enhancing departmental efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in program management or related fields supporting large-scale programs or projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective persuasion skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
