Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our field operations team. As an Environmental Remediation Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with industrial, emergency response, and remediation projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and efficient execution of these projects, while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a range of tasks associated with industrial, emergency response, and remediation projects, including clean-up activities, sample collection, waste removal, and other remediation tasks.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including steam cleaners, water lasers, cascade systems, chemical mixers, generators, air saws, drills, grinders, cutting torches, and other specialized equipment.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the successful completion of projects, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental remediation, industrial operations, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical exam, and drug screening.
