Position Responsibilities
CDS Logistics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Relations Specialist to join our team. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service capacity, preferably within the logistics or delivery sector. Our team members are integral to our success; the ideal candidate will foster strong relationships with both external clients and internal colleagues to support our daily operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee client-specific programs
- Handle outbound and inbound calls for delivery scheduling
- Follow up on unresolved customer inquiries
- Maintain strong relationships with key personnel in client accounts and internal teams
- Conduct daily pre-calls
- Assist drivers with any issues that arise
- Coordinate time frame communications
- Manage dispatch boards for assigned accounts
- Check customer service voicemail regularly
- Continuously learn about all client accounts within the business
- Deliver EXCELLENT customer service to all clients
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
- Utilize computer systems and applications to update records and respond to inquiries from internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to complete assigned tasks
Essential Qualifications:
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for fostering a customer-centric business environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines while collaborating across departments
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of administrative or customer service experience in the logistics industry
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role within the logistics sector, ideally last mile.
- Bilingual
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate information verbally and in writing, and to actively listen to understand and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.

This role operates in an office setting. This position routinely utilizes office equipment such as computers, scanners, copiers, and telephones. The role may also be near a warehouse environment, but only trained personnel are permitted to access the warehouse while adhering to all safety protocols.
