Position Overview:

Nemean Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Operational Security Analyst to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity and security of our operations within the DEVCOM C5ISR environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and enhance the security posture of the C5ISR Center Headquarters and its associated directorates, focusing on INFOSEC and overall security awareness.
  • Create and distribute informational materials related to information security, including brochures and posters, to promote security awareness.
  • Establish and enforce security protocols in accordance with Army regulations, ensuring compliance and effective execution.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of materials to identify potential risks associated with the release of sensitive technologies, maintaining a robust security posture.
  • Draft and review Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and technology control plans to safeguard sensitive programs.
  • Detect security violations, perform investigations, and compile reports for management review.
  • Utilize the Document Release Access System (DRAS) to evaluate documents for sensitive information, assisting the government in the public release process.
  • Perform regular walkthroughs of C5ISR Center facilities to ensure adherence to OPSEC and INFOSEC practices.
  • Deliver information security training to personnel, fostering a culture of security awareness.
  • Oversee container inspections and combination changes for secure areas at least annually.
  • Manage and supervise all Open Storage Secret and classified processing environments.
  • Coordinate and execute burn runs for secure documents in collaboration with partner organizations.
  • Conduct courier card briefings for relevant personnel.
  • Provide ongoing training to enhance the effectiveness of the security office in line with updated Army regulations and internal procedures.
  • Perform monthly COMSEC duties, including inventory management and maintenance.
  • Support SCIF operations, including visitor escorting, conducting ICIDS tests, and performing area inspections.

Meetings:

  • Participate in G-2 Security South Meetings (bi-weekly).
  • Engage in Workforce Addresses (as needed).
  • Attend INFOSEC Meetings (weekly).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Specialist or Facility Security Officer within a government context.
  • Experience with DISS is preferred.

Security Clearance:
Must possess a DoD TOP SECRET Level Clearance with SCI eligibility.
