PROGRAM BACKGROUND:

The Enhanced Hard-to-Place (HTP) Group Home program specializes in providing residential services to adolescents aged 13 to 18. With two gender-specific homes, each accommodating a maximum of 8 residents, our program fosters a community-oriented, home-like environment while ensuring a structured and therapeutic setting. This initiative is tailored for youth with behavioral challenges, a history of multiple placements, and those who have experienced abuse or trauma. We offer individual, group, and family therapy, complemented by 24-hour supervision within a highly structured therapeutic milieu.

SUMMARY:

The After-Hours Site Supervisor is tasked with overseeing administrative functions during after-hours operations within the ACT Program. The ideal candidate will provide on-site leadership and support to Youth Support Counselors and residents across both group homes. Responsibilities include documenting critical incidents, notifying external stakeholders and families, and acting as the primary contact for emergencies while coordinating with Program/Clinical Administration as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma with 5+ years of experience in residential program administration; exceptional leadership, organizational, supervisory, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with adolescents and families; training in managing direct care staff.
  • Commitment to the agency's mission, core values, and Sanctuary principles.
  • Valid New York State Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record; ability to travel within the Long Island area.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide direct supervision to the two group home sites, reporting to the Assistant Director of Long Island Residential Programs.
  • Monitor video surveillance continuously during shifts.
  • Coordinate with the clinical department for necessary assessments during after-hours.
  • Direct transportation and unit staff as needed, ensuring thorough documentation of all critical incidents.

Salary Range:
$60,000 per year
Hiring bonus of $1,000 after 500 worked hours
