We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator Associate to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of our healthcare support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history
  • Perform insurance verification and obtain patient signatures for required documents
  • File and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Schedule appointments and follow up with patients as needed
  • Adhere to Lean processes and work collaboratively with the care team to achieve financial, clinical, and service goals
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of customer service or healthcare experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and maintain good judgment and accountability
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work well with healthcare providers and patients
