Position Summary: We are currently looking for a Senior Plastics Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our engineering team. The successful candidate will possess expertise in Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) and will be responsible for providing technical guidance to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot both new and existing manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement procedures to enhance and troubleshoot molding processes.
  • Define molding process parameters for production tasks and conduct new mold sample evaluations using Scientific Molding Methods.
  • Collaborate closely with the assigned Project Manager to ensure all new projects are production-ready.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to create comprehensive process documentation.
  • Conduct material and tooling modification trials.
  • Offer technical support to the production team and train Process Technicians.
  • Recommend tooling modifications aimed at improving production yield, reducing cycle times, or addressing quality issues.
  • Adhere to verbal and written instructions while ensuring compliance with the quality management system.
  • Manage machine and auxiliary equipment changeovers efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Process Technician
  • Proficiency in English is required
