Position Overview:

Under guidance, this role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that all areas comply with regulatory and safety standards while operating efficiently and profitably.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and diverse workforce.
  • Establish and communicate performance standards and objectives; conduct performance evaluations.
  • Recommend salary adjustments, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Monitor operations and personnel, suggesting necessary changes in methods, procedures, structure, and staffing to optimize resource utilization.
  • Administer all company policies and procedures, ensuring staff understanding and compliance.
  • Ensure employees perform their duties safely and productively, recommending improvements to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Track departmental productivity, report trends, and implement changes to enhance work efficiency.

Ensure the entire facility meets regulatory compliance, including transfer stations, trucking domiciles, and office support functions. Review all relevant regulatory documentation and promote continuous improvement in productivity and safety standards across all operational phases.

Proactively collaborate with peers to achieve business objectives, initiate actions for timely resolution of identified hazards or unsafe practices, and provide training to production and maintenance staff as necessary.

Maintain adequate supplies and equipment levels, purchasing as needed, and perform other related duties as required.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics, or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant business and technical knowledge, with the ability to extract, automate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • A minimum of five years of management experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, production, or logistics environment, focusing on direct supervision of team members.
  • Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
