The Opportunity

Are you driven by sustainability and ready to spearhead initiatives in the recycling sector? We are seeking a Production Operations Leader to oversee our Croft Recycling facility, which serves as our premier unit for processing construction and demolition materials in the UK.

This role presents a unique chance to significantly influence the production of high-quality recycled and blended aggregates, positioning Aggregate Industries at the leading edge of the low carbon and sustainable aggregates market.

You will be the pivotal force for our team, establishing clear objectives and nurturing a collaborative environment where everyone can excel. Your leadership will ensure that our facility is not only efficient but also a fantastic place to work.

Safety is our utmost priority. You will guarantee that all operational activities adhere to safety standards and comply with relevant regulations. Regular inspections and a proactive approach will be essential in maintaining smooth operations.

You will collaborate closely with Sourcing, Sales, and Logistics teams to synchronize waste processing and inventory requirements. Your teamwork will be crucial in ensuring the production of top-tier products.

Maintaining our plant and equipment in optimal condition is vital. You will supervise maintenance initiatives and ensure everything functions safely and effectively.

From onboarding new employees to providing ongoing assistance, you will ensure that every member of your team is well-equipped and confident in their responsibilities.
