Position Overview
The Team Lead for Collections Operations will play a pivotal role in fostering a dynamic atmosphere that inspires and drives their team towards success. This position entails nurturing, guiding, and retaining talent to meet departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a dedicated team of approximately 12 to 15 collection agents.
- Conduct regular development sessions and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Monitor call quality and engage with team members for continuous improvement.
- Review team metrics and statistics on a daily and monthly basis.
- Offer coaching, direction, and support to team members as required.
- Establish a framework for accountability to ensure individual and team goals are met or exceeded.
- Implement corrective measures in accordance with company policies.
- Negotiate with clients to address and resolve delinquency issues.
- Utilize a computerized system for tracking and information management.
- Operate within a goal-oriented framework to achieve production targets and performance benchmarks.
- Identify and manage collections servicing needs across various stages for personal loan and credit card portfolios.
- Actively engage in recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Assess and recommend improvements for capacity planning and reporting to achieve portfolio objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments within Risk Operations to develop and refine processes aimed at minimizing portfolio losses and expenses.

Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of collections processes and advanced negotiation techniques.
- Previous experience in collections is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills for handling escalated situations.
- Proven ability to mentor, develop, and lead collectors at all levels.
- Exceptional self-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and implement strategic improvements.
- Ability to interpret procedures and select optimal resolutions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
