Position Overview
We are in search of a Project Operations Analyst to assist in managing the diverse array of projects within the Force Projection Sector (FPS).

As part of our committed and dynamic team of professionals, you will provide operational insights throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.

Your contributions will be vital as you engage with project teams, independently evaluating and resolving complex challenges that necessitate cooperation across programmatic, technical, and operational domains.


Key Responsibilities
As a Project Operations Analyst, you will:
  • Work alongside Program Managers (PMs), Financial Managers (FMs), and Technical Leads to proactively assess and report on project performance.
  • Lead the creation and upkeep of comprehensive project management plans, offering in-depth analysis regarding task interdependencies and potential solutions to address project performance issues.
  • Collaborate closely with project leaders to compile program data into reports, presentations, briefs, and other deliverables, utilizing creativity to produce intuitive, professional visuals that represent programmatic statuses.
  • Ensure compliance and timely submission of contractual deliverables by independently researching, compiling, composing, proofreading, and applying appropriate security markings to all program-related documents, including reports and meeting notes.
  • Support program management and technical contributors in safeguarding classified program information in accordance with applicable government regulations.
  • Apply derivative classification markings to program documentation and interpret organization-wide security directives, serving as a liaison between programs and APL security teams.
  • Create and maintain quality-related documentation within the Lab's Quality Management System (QMS), including Task Plans and drafting program Risk Assessments.

Qualifications
You will meet our essential qualifications if you:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a business, technical, or relevant field.
  • Possess over 4 years of relevant experience in coordinating project operations.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to review and organize technical information, providing critical assessments of documents for technical content and style, while also creating presentations for high-level briefings.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills with a track record of effectively engaging with all levels of management, military, and government officials.
  • Show a self-starting attitude with a high level of initiative, capable of prioritizing competing tasks and independently resolving moderately complex issues.
  • Be open to occasional travel and working in secure environments as necessary.
  • Hold an active Final Top Secret security clearance and be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance.

If selected, you will undergo a government security clearance investigation and must meet the criteria for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
