Human Resources Manager

Virtual is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing labor and employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and providing expert guidance on HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Assist in preparing, maintaining, and analyzing confidential records related to employer/employee relations, collective bargaining, grievance processing, unfair labor practice charges, and litigation.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR policies, programs, and regulations, including immigration laws and regulations, and provide regular training and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Benefits Administration: Assess insurance plans, collaborate with brokers to secure optimal coverage, and maintain records for government compliance.
  • HRIS Management: Manage employee data in HRIS, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate management training, one-on-one coaching, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Retention and Turnover: Design and support proactive engagement and development to enhance retention and reduce turnover.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree and/or HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience 8+ years in a senior HR role, with a track record of successfully managing HR functions.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work through ambiguity.
