Position Overview:

The Marketing and Communications Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of various marketing initiatives. This position is integral to the planning, scheduling, and successful delivery of communications projects that align with the organizational objectives of CURE International Children's Hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate marketing, communication, and branding projects from inception through to completion.
  2. Oversee project management systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain communication schedules and calendars.
  4. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure projects remain on track.
  5. Implement a rigorous quality review process to uphold high standards in all deliverables.
  6. Coordinate the transition of campaigns from external vendors to internal processes.
  7. Support project updates and presentations with comprehensive schedules and reports.
  8. Engage with external vendors for quotes and manage delivery timelines for planned campaigns.
  9. Work closely with the Marketing & Events Coordinator to ensure successful event execution.
  10. Assist in managing radio fundraising campaigns and donor event logistics.
  11. Participate in organizational meetings as required.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, administrative support, or business administration, with a preference for 5+ years.

Skills and Competencies:
  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Ability to accept feedback positively and maintain a constructive attitude.
  3. Proven time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  4. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  5. Capacity to remain composed under pressure and employ proactive problem-solving abilities.
  6. Experience in budget management.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  8. Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Monday, or Basecamp.
  9. Willingness to travel as needed.
