Role Summary:

This role entails the orchestration of marketing events, including conferences, trade exhibitions, and specialized AvaSure-hosted gatherings. Additionally, the position involves crafting content and communications for both internal and external marketing initiatives, encompassing social media, customer engagement sessions, and promotional materials.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline is essential.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or technology sectors is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with event management software and online registration platforms, such as Cvent, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in design and graphics editing tools, including InDesign and Photoshop, is desirable.
  • Exceptional time management and communication abilities, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects autonomously.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing methodologies.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Competence in utilizing LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy to achieve objectives throughout all phases of event planning, including project workflow, creative direction, marketing, production, audiovisual needs, vendor coordination, venue selection, and programming.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of project components within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Manage communications regarding registration, travel, and programming throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Create reporting tools using registration software to collect attendee data and monitor registrations, aiding in the development of event strategies and post-event evaluations.
  • Coordinate and participate in venue inspections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise an event strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to address and resolve any issues that may arise during events.
  • Utilize analytical skills to conduct post-event assessments to evaluate the return on investment and overall effectiveness of events.
  • Employ research skills to identify event opportunities, comprehend market dynamics, and generate interest.
  • Formulate and implement pre-event, on-site, and post-event social media engagement strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Work alongside external contractors to develop and execute paid advertising campaigns while tracking their success.
  • Contribute engaging content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Produce compelling copy and refine content for various digital marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to enhance website traffic and search engine visibility.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to achieve marketing objectives and ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Stay informed about the latest market research, trends, and tools in digital marketing, making proactive recommendations for enhancements.
