Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Marketing and Communications Operations Specialist who excels in project management and thrives in a dynamic environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of various marketing and communications initiatives that align with our mission to support children in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and oversee marketing, communication, and branding projects from inception to completion.
  2. Manage project workflows and systems to enhance efficiency and timely delivery.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain and update communication calendars.
  4. Work across departments to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  5. Implement a rigorous quality review process to guarantee high standards in all deliverables.
  6. Facilitate the transition of campaigns from external vendors to internal teams.
  7. Assist in the preparation of project updates, schedules, and reports for advancement initiatives.
  8. Engage with external vendors for quotes, quality assessments, and delivery timelines.
  9. Partner with event coordinators to ensure flawless execution of events.
  10. Support radio fundraising campaigns and donor event logistics.
  11. Participate in organizational meetings as required.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role that involves project management and administrative support.

Skills and Abilities:
  1. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams and across departments.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Exceptional time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  4. Superior organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  5. Ability to remain composed under pressure and employ proactive problem-solving techniques.
  6. Experience with budget management.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  8. Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Monday, or Basecamp.
  9. Willingness to travel as needed.
