As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing essential services that enhance operational efficiency.

Role Responsibilities

In this position, you will be integrated with the client, offering a range of services including:

  • Personnel Support
  • Reception and Administrative Assistance
  • General Office Management
  • Travel Order and Claim Support

As a vital member of the Executive Assistance team, you will engage with senior executives and military personnel, ensuring seamless communication and outstanding service delivery.

Key Duties

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the coordination of Military Performance Reports and Awards.
  • Drafting correspondence and liaising with external agencies.
  • Implementing award templates and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Assisting in the preparation of various official letters and documentation.
  • Overseeing the in-processing and out-processing of personnel.
  • Greeting visitors and ensuring adherence to security protocols.
  • Providing customer service at the reception desk.
  • Developing and documenting efficient operational procedures.
  • Preparing correspondence per established guidelines.
  • Supporting quarterly ceremonies and events.
  • Managing office supplies and coordinating maintenance requests.
  • Processing travel-related applications and vouchers.
  • Maintaining professionalism in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Department of Defense sector.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Certification in project management.
  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree.
  • Expertise in handling classified materials.
  • Experience in coordinating special events.
  • Knowledge of Special Access Programs.
