Client Overview:
Our client, a prominent international law firm, is in search of an Office Coordinator to enhance the functionality of their Washington, DC office. This position plays a vital role in facilitating seamless office operations and providing support for various human resources activities.
Role Summary:
The Office Coordinator will oversee daily office functions, assist with administrative initiatives, and organize events. This role requires the ability to optimize operations, manage administrative responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with vendors. Strong organizational capabilities and the capacity to work both autonomously and as part of a team are essential.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee office calendars and scheduling.
- Coordinate events and meetings, while managing vendor partnerships.
- Handle expense reporting, timekeeping, and other administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in an office assistant role within a law firm, financial institution, or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing office operations.
- Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
- Initial month requires in-office attendance; hybrid work schedule available thereafter (3 days in-office weekly).
- Background checks and three supervisory references will be required.
