ANSER is seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Management Analyst to support the Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) Immediate Office (IO). The successful candidate will work directly with the Deputy Director, WHS in executing special projects that align with the WHS mission to provide administrative, management, and common support services across the Department of Defense (DoD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide robust policy analysis on a broad range of topics, serving as an "honest broker" to support senior executives across DoD.
  • Conduct high-level analysis, integrating complex factors, including accurate assessments of the institutional environment, to inform policy decisions.
  • Develop and present information logically, authoring official written documents in accordance with the DoD Manual for Written Correspondence.
  • Propose solutions to complex business problems, leveraging broad experience and technical knowledge.
  • Assist in analyzing and developing improvement options for administrative functions, including human resources, budget development, logistics, facilities management, administrative security, and contract management.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field of study, plus at least 12 years' experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the DoD.
  • Active Top Secret clearance required at date of hire.
  • Ability to provide on-site support in the Pentagon, Monday through Friday, during core business hours of 8am-4pm, with potential for telework after an appropriate amount of time supporting the office and upon client approval.
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Professionalism, tact, and experience working with senior DoD leadership.
