The ideal candidate for this position should have experience operating mechanical, hydraulic, and/or servo punch presses, with a focus on hand transfer of heavy and complex parts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate complex and progressive tooling in a quality and rate-conscious manner
  • Perform coil changes
  • Maintain equipment and tooling with appropriate lubricants
  • Clean and maintain press area
  • Perform quality checks using proper measuring devices and complete quality records
  • Stop production when quality issues are detected
  • Complete appropriate paperwork, including labels, accurately and completely
  • May require successful completion of Kapco's forklift certification program
  • Other duties as assigned
