Job Summary

As a Quoting Specialist II at REXNORD INDUSTRIES LLC, you will be responsible for creating and delivering customer quotes using price lists, modifiers, qualifiers, factory costs, and other product and engineering attributes. You will collaborate with the sales team to deliver completed customer quotes as part of the Segment Quoting Strategy. Additionally, you will work with the Vertical Marketing Managers to develop sales growth and margin improvement strategies using market trends and available consumer or industry analytics and metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver customer quotes using price lists, modifiers, qualifiers, factory costs, and other product and engineering attributes.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver completed customer quotes as part of the Segment Quoting Strategy.
  • Work with the Vertical Marketing Managers to develop sales growth and margin improvement strategies using market trends and available consumer or industry analytics and metrics.
  • Assist in all report generation to support sales, marketing, and logistics.
  • Partner with Product Management to evaluate current product profitability and develop optimal profitability strategies.
  • Determine strategic competitive pricing levels through analysis of competitors' market information.
  • Analyze customer specifications to ensure product quotes meet all customers' requirements.
  • Understand industry economics, applications, and REXNORD products/value to the customer.
  • Execute business quoting strategy to Oracle ERP system in line with defined pricing structures and discounts.
  • Research and prepare reports using data from Oracle/CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and other computer systems.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate errors and implement process improvements.
  • May provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced analysts.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience (Technical degree preferred).
  • 3+ years relevant work experience in a similar B2B Marketing position.
  • Energetic, well-organized, self-managed, commercially minded, flexible, team-oriented, and possesses strong integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to evaluate market opportunities, distill clear messages, and develop business strategies.
  • Familiarity with 80/20 methodologies preferred.
  • Sense of accountability for sales and profitability.
  • Excellent automation knowledge, preferable Oracle and key Excel user.
  • Excellent analytical insight and good with financial analysis & numbers.
  • Firm personality; communicative, strong in writing and verbal.
  • Entrepreneurial and practical attitude.
  • Self-starter and proactive independent worker, but also able to work in a participative team environment.
  • Objective critical thinking capabilities.
  • Effective negotiator.
  • Good quantitative and analytical skills.
