Position Overview

Peraton is seeking a Integration Engineer to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on the planning, integration, and documentation of advanced voice and video systems for government Command and Control (C2) conference rooms and video-teleconferencing endpoints.

In this role, the Integration Engineer will manage projects that range from the installation of individual network devices to the development of sophisticated high-definition video conference rooms, while also being accountable for the creation of system drawing packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with clients and engineering teams to derive system engineering design requirements.
  • Develop system-level drawings, cable lists, and wiring diagrams to facilitate project execution.
  • Review and verify a consolidated list of materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Receive, inspect, inventory, and track all materials required for projects.
  • Assemble systems, including rack and stack, cable assembly, and wiring tasks.
  • Coordinate with testing teams and quality assurance to validate system performance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute field installations effectively.
Travel Requirements
  • Travel to local and CONUS/OCONUS sites is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for driving in the DMV area.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Active/current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with five (5) years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience; Master's degree with three (3) years of relevant experience; PhD with no experience required. Relevant experience may substitute for higher education.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in creating Visio drawing packages.
  • At least two (2) years of experience utilizing 2D AutoCAD drawings.
  • Three (3) years of experience in building network, audio, and video cables.
  • Two (2) years of experience in integrating video conference room systems.
  • Willingness to travel to local and CONUS/OCONUS sites.
  • Ability to drive in the DMV area with a valid driver's license.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Capability to produce documentation detailing operational concepts, interface controls, and security protocols.
  • Previous experience supporting government and/or Department of Defense clients.
  • Familiarity with the handling of COMSEC devices.
  • Certification as a Technical Specialist.
