Position Overview

Peraton is seeking a Systems Integration Specialist to play a pivotal role in the integration and documentation of voice and video systems tailored for government Command and Control (C2) environments. This position is based in Alexandria, VA, and involves managing the planning and execution of installations for conference rooms and video-teleconferencing endpoints.

Key Responsibilities

The Systems Integration Specialist will be tasked with:
  • Collaborating closely with clients and engineering teams to define system engineering requirements.
  • Developing comprehensive system-level drawings, cable lists, and wiring schematics to facilitate project execution.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of material specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and managing inventory of materials.
  • Building systems, including rack assembly, cable assembly, and wiring tasks.
  • Coordinating with testing teams and quality assurance to validate system performance.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing field installations.
Travel Requirements
  • Travel to local and CONUS/OCONUS sites will be necessary.
  • A valid driver's license is required for driving in the DMV area.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
  • Possession of an active/current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline, accompanied by five (5) years of relevant experience, or a suitable combination of education and experience; a Master's degree with three (3) years of relevant experience; or a PhD with no experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in creating Visio drawing packages.
  • At least two (2) years of experience with 2D AutoCAD drawings.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in constructing network, audio, and video cables.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in integrating video conference room systems.
  • Willingness to travel to local and CONUS/OCONUS sites.
  • Ability to drive in the DMV area, requiring a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Capability to produce documentation detailing operational concepts, interface controls, and security protocols.
  • Previous experience in support of government or Department of Defense clients.
  • Familiarity with the management of COMSEC devices.
  • Certification as a Technical Specialist.
Compensation Overview

The salary range for this position is typically between $104,000 and $166,000, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
