Position Title: Senior Cybersecurity Program Coordinator

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote

Contract Length: 9 months, with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the strategic direction, management, communication, and coordination of project status updates, ensuring accountability for project outcomes within the Cybersecurity division.
  • Focus on technical cybersecurity initiatives that involve the design, development, execution, implementation, or maintenance of cybersecurity tools, processes, systems, or software.
  • Ensure timely project delivery, adherence to budget constraints, high-quality standards, and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive scope documents based on approved project charters and plans, including work breakdown structures.
  • Monitor key milestones and adjust project plans, budget requests, and resources to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Manage projects characterized by multiple interdependencies and moderate to complex levels of scope, risk, and business impact.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Manage projects that involve both internal and external dependencies, with moderate to large scope and risk levels, integrating across functional capabilities.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between planned and actual costs, ensuring robust financial management for assigned projects.
  • Develop and validate multiple project plans, providing necessary approvals.
  • Engage in change initiatives, contributing to tasks outside of specific job responsibilities.
  • Communicate project status to team members, stakeholders, and program managers associated with other initiatives.
  • Advise teams and clients on tactical solutions to overcome project barriers.
  • Facilitate the resolution of project issues, managing changes, risks, and dependencies effectively.
  • Lead project meetings and foster relationships with stakeholders and team members to achieve common objectives.
  • Mentor junior Cybersecurity Project Managers as needed.
Experience Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience or a combination of transferable experience and education in IT project management.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Certifications:
  • PMP and CompTIA Security+ certifications are highly desirable.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in various domains such as Healthcare and Financial Services, along with familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, is advantageous.
