Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, configure, and sustain cybersecurity solutions such as Proofpoint, Abnormal, Umbrella, and SentinelOne to safeguard the organization against cyber threats.
  • Continuously monitor security systems for irregularities and work in tandem with the SOC to mitigate potential security incidents.
  • Develop and refine security policies and procedures to meet industry standards and organizational needs.

  • Partner with IT and security teams to bolster security infrastructure and incident response capabilities.

  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft systems.

  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine tasks such as monitoring, server management, Active Directory administration, software installation, and imaging.
  • Manage configurations in both cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Support forecasting and management of server technologies and growth, including disaster recovery planning.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts from mail security systems and EDR systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, operational procedures, and service records.
  • Troubleshoot Windows networks, storage, applications, and hyper-converged platforms.
  • Work with external managed service providers.
  • Participate in technical planning sessions.
  • Coordinate tasks to ensure resources are aligned for specific operations.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with users, teams, and management.
  • Establish and adhere to deadlines for tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding and practical experience with security tools such as Proofpoint, Umbrella, SentinelOne, and Abnormal.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, incident management, and response protocols.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and experience securing cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure).
  • Solid Windows expertise and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred, though practical experience is highly valued.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security administration, Windows System Administration, or related roles.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of the O365 platform, Azure Stack HCI, and/or Hyper-V Systems.
  • Understanding of Privilege Access Management and administration.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to create and maintain thorough documentation for security systems, procedures, and incident response plans.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for task automation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOX.
  • Strong incident response and crisis management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and staying ahead of cybersecurity trends.
