Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards while maintaining security technology best practices across the organization.
  • Design and implement comprehensive security strategies, architectures, and platforms.

  • Contribute to project teams by providing insights on security standards and their implications for technology.
  • Investigate and document security threats and incidents, conducting post-event reviews.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including operational, architectural, and design materials.
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of security architecture designs, focusing on performance, confidentiality, integrity, availability, and cost of ownership.
  • Oversee project transitions, ensuring thorough documentation and support for seamless handoffs.
  • Design tools that promote the reuse of design components across projects, developing prototypes based on original designs.
  • Build and sustain relationships with IT and business partners to evaluate designs and controls.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and experience, benchmarking technology strategies and anticipating trends.
  • Promote the adoption of new technologies and methods to improve business processes and deliver greater value to customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Relevant Information Security certifications (CISSP, CISM) are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT Infrastructure Services and the ability to balance business needs with security controls.
  • Understanding of Network Security principles, including firewalls and perimeter defenses.
  • Experience with various security solutions for End-Point, Remote Access, and Network Systems Management.
  • Knowledge of Big Data architectures and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
  • Experience in securing digital engagement models and API security.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an architectural role, working on complex IT projects.

Required Education:

A related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in an IT-related field.

Required Certifications:

CISSP certification is required within 180 days if transitioning to a full-time role.
